PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body motion detecting device capable of highly accurately detecting body motion without disturbing sleep and achieving it at a low cost.SOLUTION: A body motion detecting device 100 includes: a load sensor 11 disposed on a back face of bedding 2 and detecting a change in load; a body motion value arithmetic part 12 that calculates a body motion value representing the change in the load on the basis of the change in the load for every zone with a cycle shorter than a breathing cycle of an animal 1 on the bedding 2; and a body motion determining part 13, when the body motion value is larger than a preset determination threshold, determining that there is the body motion of the animal 1. |
