The present invention is a method for reducing warpage of a glass plate that develops when a glass plate produced by a float process is subjected to chemical strengthening treatment. In the method of the present invention, a glass plate produced by a float process is held for 10 minutes or more within a temperature range from the strain point of the glass - 70ºC to the strain point + 20ºC prior to being subjected to chemical strengthening treatment. |
