PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door opening and closing device which has high vehicle mountability and can cope with various required performances.SOLUTION: In a door opening and closing device 1 which includes a motor 2, an output shaft 3, and a transmission mechanism 4 transmitting power of the motor 2 to the output shaft 3, and opens and closes a door by power output from the output shaft 3, a rotary shaft of the motor 2 and the output shaft 3 can be engaged with each other in a state where the power is transmitted, the transmission mechanism 4 has an input member inputting power and an output member outputting the power, the input member and the output member are configured to rotate around the same axis of rotation and are stored in a cylindrical storage member to be unitized, the input member of the transmission mechanism 4 and the rotary shaft of the motor 2 are engaged with each other in a state where the power is transmitted, the output member of the transmission mechanism 4 and the output shaft 3 are engaged with each other in a state where the power is transmitted, and an engaging part with the rotary shaft of the motor 2 in the input member of the transmission mechanism 4 can be engaged with an engaging part with the output shaft 3 in the output member of the transmission mechanism 4. |
