The present invention relates to a gripper assembly for a rotary automatic packing machine, of which the structure is improved to improve assemblability and to release the gripping force of a packing bag using a small amount of power. The gripper assembly for a rotary automatic packing machine comprises: assembling a link member (50) in a rotary jaw (40) and a first lever (71) by forming a rotary block (70) having first and second levers (71, 72) having different heights and opened at an acute angle; and then connecting a spring member (60) to a catch (33) and the second lever (72) in a position under the link member (50), thereby preventing a decline in assemblability due to the interference between elements.
