PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an installation for production of a steel strip which enable stable production of a steel strip having intended characteristics without deterioration of productivity or quality.SOLUTION: A method of producing a steel strip by annealing a steel strip continuously comprises chilling a steel strip quickly in a first cooling apparatus, heating the quick-chilled steel strip in a heating apparatus arranged on the outlet side of the first cooling apparatus and keeping the surface temperature of the steel strip at a constant temperature, and chilling the heated steel strip quickly in a second cooling apparatus arranged on the outlet side of the heating apparatus. |
