摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid-permeable porous material which comprises cellulose nanofibers having a very small fiber diameter and high hydrophilicity, and to produce the porous material at a low cost.SOLUTION: A porous material relating to the present invention is a porous material in which a net-like structure is formed by intertwining nanofibers in pores of a support body of the porous material in which a large number of pores communicate with each other. The nanofibers are cellulose nanofibers and has a number average fiber diameter of 1-100 nm. A raw material of the cellulose nanofibers includes at least one of kraft pulp derived from wood, sulfite pulp, waste paper pulp, mechanical pulp, and non-wood pulp.
