PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gift voucher processing machine and its processing method that enable first gift vouchers, as adjustment tickets for its own store, to be returned out of a machine body without being stored in a storage section and enable only second gift vouchers, as adjustment tickets for other stores, to stay in the machine body, thus efficiently performing a payment process for gift vouchers.SOLUTION: Gift voucher processing machines 10, 40, and 70 include storage sections 31 and 61 for storing information about a first gift voucher and information about a second gift voucher; and distribution means 34 and 64 for distributing gift vouchers based on the information stored in the storage sections 31 and 61, such that first gift vouchers among the gift vouchers held in temporary holding sections (payment temporary holding sections) 20, 21, 50, and 80 are allowed to be taken out from the machine body and the second gift vouchers are not allowed to be taken out from the machine body. |
