PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectacle lens which has a vapor deposition layer formed using SiOas vapor deposition material in a multilayer vapor-deposited film and has both excellent durability and satisfactory appearance.SOLUTION: There is provided a spectacle lens having a coating film through a hard coat layer on a lens base material, wherein the coating film includes a laminate structure in which a first vapor deposition layer formed by vapor deposition using a vapor deposition source mainly composed of SiOand a second vapor deposition layer formed by vapor deposition using a vapor deposition source mainly composed of TaOor ZrOare adjacent to each other, the first vapor deposition layer has a nano indentation hardness of 5.0 GPa or more and a compressive stress of 600 MPa or less, and the second vapor deposition layer has a nano indentation hardness of 7.5 GPa or more and a compressive stress of 350 MPa or less. |
