PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorbent of iodide ion and iodate ion, excellent in adsorptivity of iodide ion and iodate ion.SOLUTION: An adsorbent has cerium hydroxide (IV) and a slightly-soluble silver compound. Preferably, the content of the cerium hydroxide (IV) is 50 mass% or more and 99 mass% or less, and the content of the slightly-soluble silver compound is 1 mass% or more and 50 mass% or less. Further preferably, the slightly-soluble silver compound is at least one kind selected from silver zeolite, silver phosphate, silver chloride and silver carbonate.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
