PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for separating and removing air bubbles capable of effectively and efficiently removing air bubbles in a fluid by being given an effective technique related to setting of various kinds of parameters of this kind of the device.SOLUTION: A device 100 for separating and removing air bubbles forms swirl flows of a fluid being the object of air bubble removal in a cylindrical housing having an outflow port 30 of diameter D2 in one end by flowing the fluid being the object of air bubble removal in a tangential direction of the housing from an inflow port 10 formed in the other end of the housing, discharges air bubbles gathered in a vicinity of the center line of the housing by the swirl flows out of an air outlet 50 of diameter D3 provided on the opposite side of the outflow port 30, and sets the outflow port diameter D2 of the outflow port 30 so that the value of a dimensionless diameter defined by Db/D2 when the air bubble diameter of air bubbles contained in the fluid being the object of air bubble removal flowed in from the inflow port.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
