Method for managing a vehicle compressor, wherein the compressor (C) is driven in rotation by a vehicle engine (E). The stop pressure threshold (cut-off threshold) of the compressor is varied as an inverse function of a compressor speed of rotation. The compressor speed of rotation might be directly proportional to the vehicle engine speed of rotation (E).
