PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolyte material, and a metal-air all-solid secondary battery manufactured using the solid electrolyte material.SOLUTION: An electrolyte material of the present invention is a gelatinized product of MO(OH)(in the formula, M represents an element belonging to group-4, -13 or -14 on the periodic table, and each of a and b is a value determined according to a valence of M so that the gelatinized product is electrically neutral) and contains a basic hydroxide. The electrolyte material is obtained by agitating, under conditions of the presence of a basic hydroxide, an alcoholic solution of an alkoxide of an element belonging to group-4, -13 or -14 on the periodic table to produce a gelatinized product and then subjecting the gelatinized product to heat treatment. |
