PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator capable of stably operating, and a method of manufacturing the actuator.SOLUTION: An actuator 10 includes: a ball screw shaft 61 which rotates as the rotary shaft of a motor rotates; a slide part 50 which moves linearly along the axis of the ball screw shaft 61 as the ball screw shaft 61 rotates; a rod 11 which is fixed to the slide part 50 to move linearly together with the slide part 50; a rear bracket 80 which supports the ball screw shaft 61 rotatably; a case member 30 to which the rear bracket 80 is fixed and which supports the slide part 50 movably in the axial direction of a rod 11; a case member 40 to which the rear bracket 80 is fixed and which covers the slide part 50; and a bolt 18 which fixes the rear bracket 80 while pressing the rear bracket axially against the case members 30, 40 respectively. |
