The present invention relates to a method for indicating a coverage area and an unmanned aerial vehicle for the same. The method for indicating a coverage area according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a flying step of making a flight along a preset path, by an unmanned aerial vehicle; a measurement step of measuring communication sensitivity by setting a measurement area in a flying radius zone set on the preset path, by the unmanned aerial vehicle; a determination step of determining the communication state of the measurement area by using the communication sensitivity of the measurement area, by the unmanned aerial vehicle; and an indication step of indicating that the measurement area is a coverage area by making a circular flight over the measurement area when the communication state of the measurement area is determined as good, by the unmanned aerial vehicle. The method of the present invention can intuitively inform mobile communication users of the coverage area by using the unmanned aerial vehicle.
