In an input device comprising a device for generating haptic feedback, the device for generating haptic feedback comprising a permanent magnet and a first coil, the permanent magnet being connected to an input surface and the permanent magnet being driveable by powering the coil and the input surface being movable in this way and haptic feedback being generable for an operator of the input device in this way, provision is made for the device for generating haptic feedback to have an integrator and a second coil arranged in the spatial vicinity of the first coil, for a voltage to be inducible in the second coil by the permanent magnet in the case of a movement of the input surface caused by the operator, for the induced voltage to be integrable in the integrator, for the path travelled by the permanent magnet to be establishable from the integrated voltage. |
