PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten an inspection time.SOLUTION: A surface mounting machine 10 comprises: back-up pins 11 for supporting a printed board B; a supporting plate 12 including a plurality of pin fit-in concave parts 12a which are arranged in a matrix state and selected for the back-up pins to be fit therein; at least two absorption heads 15 and absorption nozzles 17 which are arranged having an arrangement pitch P1 therebetween corresponding to an arrangement pitch P2 between at least two pin fit-in concave parts 12a selected from among the plurality of pin fit-in concave parts 12a arranged in the matrix state; a first movement mechanism 14 and a second movement mechanism 16 for moving at least absorption heads 15 and the absorption nozzles 17; and pin detection means 32 for detecting existence of the back-up pin 11 on the basis of a fact that at least two absorption heads 15 and the absorption nozzles 17 have come into contact with the back-up pins 11. |
