A selective catalytic reduction system comprises: a reductant injection module installed at an exhaust pipe in which an exhaust gas is discharged from an engine, and injecting the reductant into the exhaust pipe; a temperature calculation unit for calculating the temperature of an injection nozzle of the reductant injection module by using temperature-related information of the reductant injection module; and a temperature control unit for controlling the injection amount of the reductant in the reductant injection module such that the injection amount is increased when the calculated temperature of the injection nozzle exceeds the allowable temperature during the operation of the engine.
