The apparatus has a landfill body (12), and heat exchanging devices arranged in the body. Transmission fluid is guided through the heat exchanging devices, where heat is dissipated from the body and/or the heat is supplied to the body through the fluid. Holes (28) are formed in the body, where the heat exchanging devices are designed as rod-shaped heat probes (32). A cleaning unit is arranged at a ventilation device for cleaning gas from the body. The body is covered with a sealing element (16) that is connected with connection sections (50) of the heat exchanging devices. An independent claim is also included for a method for treating landfill. |
