Provided is a power conversion device which enables a reduction in the number of compositional elements for a circuit required to execute a desired number of output levels. A power conversion device 1 comprises N voltage control units 21-2N, a full bridge conversion unit 3 having four switches QB1-QB4, a clamp unit 4 having hold switches QC1, QC2, and a control unit 5. The control unit 5 controls the four switches QB1-QB4, the hold switches QC1, QC2, and regeneration switches Q1-QN and input switches Q21-Q2N in each of the N voltage control units 21-2N. Thus, the control unit 5 switches the output voltage V1 to a 2N+3 step. |
