PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member for firing consisting of a zirconia quality sintered body that has corrosion resistance and durability that are more excellent than those of a past zirconia quality sintered body of a substantia compacta.SOLUTION: In a zirconia quality sintered body that includes (a) 6 to 12% by mole of YOthat is a stabilizer of zirconia based on zirconia, wherein (b) a molar ratio of NbOto YOis in a range of 0.03-0.30, a member for firing consisting of a zirconia quality sintered body is characterized by (c) comprising a zirconia single phase in which a second phase does not exist as a crystal phase, and is characterized in that (d) the zirconia crystal phase has 95% by volume of a cubic zirconia, (e) the total amount of unavoidable impurities is at most 0.3% by weight, and a content of SiOis 0.03% by weight, (f) a porosity is at most 0.5%, (g) an average crystal grain diameter is 3 to 30 μm, and (h) a ratio of a minimum crystal grain size to the average crystal grain diameter is at least 0.05. |
