The present invention relates to a method, system and related devices for delivering a web application to a client (C), said client (C) being coupled to an Origin Server (OS) via a proxy server (PS), said client (C) requesting said proxy server (PS) for a web application, said web application being composed of a main web resource RA and a plurality of dependent web resources said method comprising the steps of said client (C) sending a request for said web application to said proxy server (PS) and wherein said method further comprises the steps of said proxy server (PS) at receipt of said request for said web application fetching meta-information on said web application and said proxy server (PS) retrieving said main web resource and each dependent web resource of said plurality of dependent web resources based on said meta-information on said main web resource and said proxy server (PS) successively pushing each said web resource of said plurality of web resources succeeded by said main web resource to said client (C).
