PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, since the same conversion encoding method is applied to a differential signal between a pixel signal in a target region and a prediction signal regardless of an in-screen prediction signal generation method, even if prediction accuracy is improved, a code amount of the differential signal cannot be reduced efficiently.SOLUTION: Prediction signal generation means generates a plurality of texture signals according to different prediction signal generation methods while referring to reproduced pixels, and selects a texture signal of a highest correlation with a target pixel signal as a prediction signal in the target region from among the plurality of texture signals. Encoding means encodes mode information that instructs a prediction signal generation method for generating the selected texture signal. Scanning means generates one-dimensional data on a conversion coefficient or a quantization conversion coefficient using a scan method corresponding to the prediction signal generation method. Inverse scanning means inversely scans the one-dimensional data using an inverse scan method corresponding to the mode information and generates a conversion coefficient matrix or a quantized conversion coefficient matrix of a reproduction residual signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
