Disclosed are an apparatus and method for managing an integrated rating of an on-line game. The purpose of embodiments of the present invention is to provide a means of matching the other party of a game by calculating the integrated rating by game group and then by using, when a new game is played, the integrated rating of the game group to which the new game belongs. An apparatus for managing an integrated rating, according to an embodiment of the present invention, for a plurality of games including a first game and a second game, comprises: a rating management unit which classifies the plurality of games into at least one game group, and stores and manages the ratings of game users by the game group; a rating calculation unit for updating a specific user′s rating corresponding to a first game group to which the first game belongs, according to the specific user′s play result for the first game; and a matching unit for matching, when the specific user plays the second game, the other party for the specific user in the second game by using the rating of the specific user by the game group. |
