An illumination device provided with a light source and a light-guide body positioned in front of the light source. The light-guide body is provided with a first face part formed on the light-source side thereof and a second face part formed on the reverse side thereof from the first face part. The first face part is configured from a flat face, and the second face part is configured from an inclined face which intersects with the optical axis of the light source at an angle other than a right angle. The angle formed by the inclined face and the optical axis on the light-source side is configured so as to become smaller toward the center of the second face part positioned on the optical axis and become larger toward the periphery of the second face part. |
