PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a gear and a processing tool unit of the gear used therefor, capable of shortening a manufacturing time.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a gear on the present invention comprises a first process of quenching by relatively approaching both at a first cut-in speed while co-rotating both by meshing a first processing tool of a screw gear shape and a processed gear and a second process of grinding by relatively approaching both at a second cut-in speed while co-rotating both by meshing a second processing tool of a screw gear shape and a processed gear, and the first cut-in speed is faster than the second cut-in speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
