The invention relates to a method for adjusting a spinning speed of a drum of a washing and/or drying machine being placed on a base during laundry spinning, the method comprising the following operations: detecting a gradient of the actual speed of the drum for a spinning process and determining whether the speed gradient is increasing or decreasing, and also detecting vibrations of the household appliance having frequency and/or amplitude arising during the spinning process and parameter values of which depending on the base whereon the appliance is placed, comparing said parameter values to their reference values, and if the parameter value characterizing the vibrations deviates from the reference values, modifying the spinning speed of the drum during the spinning process depending on the determined speed gradient. |
