PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device that makes available a configuration to correct an existing dark current and can reduce an influence of a difference in dark current occurring due to a difference in pixel structure.SOLUTION: An imaging device includes: an imaging element that has an effective pixel area where function pixels used for a purpose other than image formation are arranged in an area where image pixels are arranged in matrix, and a light-shielded pixel area where image pixels and function pixels having the same structure as that in the effective pixel area are arranged, while shielded from light, with a rule different from that for the effective pixel area; and a dark current detection part 41 that detects a dark current of the image pixels in the light-shielded area and a dark current of the function pixels in the light-shielded area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
