PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcement member of a cross member which enables improvement of rigidity and strength of the cross member while inhibiting increase of the weight.SOLUTION: An upper reinforcement member 1 is provided between an upper member 3 and a lower member 4 of an alligator type cross member 2 to reinforce the upper member 3 and the lower member 4. The upper reinforcement member 1 is provided with one end part 11, which is fastened to a side rail 5 with the upper member 3 by rivets, and the other end part 13, which is fastened to the lower member 4 with the upper member 3 by bolts 8a and nuts 8b. An opening part 12 is formed from the other end part 13 of the upper reinforcement member 1 to the one end part 11 and a protruding part 42a of the lower member 4 is disposed in the opening part 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
