PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide inhibitors of apoptosis protein (IAP) inhibitors that enhance the immune response in a subject when administered to the subject.SOLUTION: Provided is an IAP inhibitor to be used as a medicine for enhancing immune response in a subject, the IAP inhibitor being (S)-N-((S)-1-cyclohexyl-2-{(S)-2-[4-(4-fluoro-benzoyl)-thiazol-2-yl]-pyrrolidin-1-yl}-2-oxo-ethyl)-2-methylamino-propionamide, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. Also provided is a use of the IAP inhibitor to enhance the immune response to cancer, where the immune enhancement includes cytokine production, and the cytokine may be IL-2 or interferon-γ.SELECTED DRAWING: None
