The invention relates to a sealing device (10) for a slidable leaf as a sliding leaf (3) or slidable lift-and-slide leaf of a window or a door, comprising sealing strips (11, 12), which are arranged in an impact region (9) of intermediate spaces (9') between the sliding leaf (3) and the fixed panel (4) for sealing and securing a closed sliding leaf (3) of a window or a door (1), of which in the impact region (9), a sealing strip (11) having a leaf frame contact surface (5") can be fastened to the leaf frame (5) of the sliding leaf (3), and a sealing strip (12) having a fixed panel frame contact surface (7") can be fastened to the fixed panel frame (7) of the further fixed panel (4). The sealing strips (11, 12) comprised of a profile body (13) have first profile sections (14), which mutually engage across or behind when the sliding leaf (3) is closed, and which form an operatively connected unit with the seals (15) arranged opposite thereof. On the side (16) parallely facing away from the leaf frame contact surface (5") or the fixed panel contact surface (7"), the profile bodies (13) are provided with a receiving groove (17), into which mounting screws (18) can be inserted, and which, in the mounted state of the side (16), are arranged in a countersunk fashion. The receiving groove (17) accommodates a cover strip (19) in a form-fitting and/or force-locking manner, which cover strip (19) sealingly covers the receiving groove (17) such that the cover strip (19) is almost flush with the side (16). |
