An AFE performs a predetermined signal processing in sequence to the image signals that are output alternately. |

1. An image reading device comprising:
a document sheet conveying portion configured to convey a document sheet along a predetermined document sheet conveyance path; a sync signal outputting portion configured to, in a double-side mode, alternately output a first sync signal and a second sync signal while the document sheet is moving in a range including a first position and a second position in the document sheet conveyance path, the double-side mode being a mode in which images on both sides of the document sheet are read; a first image sensor configured to read an image from a first surface of the document sheet at the first position and output a first image signal corresponding to the image read at the first position, in synchronization with the first sync signal; a second image sensor configured to read an image from a second surface of the document sheet at the second position and output a second image signal corresponding to the image read at the second position, in synchronization with the second sync signal; and an image signal processing portion configured to perform a predetermined signal processing in sequence to the first image signal and the second image signal that are output alternately from the first image sensor and the second image sensor. |
