According to the present invention, an environment controller for a physically challenged person for integrally controlling electronic items including an infrared-based electronic device (10), an illumination switch (20), and a power outlet (30), which are installed and located in a living space (S) of a physically challenged person, which comprises: a mobile communication module (110) which stores one or more pieces of emergency contact number information and makes a telephone call to a designated emergency phone number in response to a control signal; an infrared module (120) which learns infrared format information regarding one or more infrared-based electronic device (10) and transmits an infrared signal according to a designated infrared format in response to a control signal to control the operation of the infrared-based electronic device (10); a power control module (130) which includes a relay switch (131) which is installed within an input power supply line inside an illumination switch (20) or a power outlet (30) installed in a wall, and selectively shuts power supply down in response to an inputted power selection signal, and outputs the power selection signal which is matched, according to the control signal, to the relay switch (131) to control power supply to the operation switch (190) or the power outlet (30); and a micom (140) which outputs the control signal for controlling the operation of the mobile communication module (110), the infrared module (120), and the power control module (130) in response to the operation signal from the illumination switch (20) of the operation switch (190), or an operation button (182), which are connected signal-wise. |
