The bearing has an external ring (49) in which two opposite surfaces (51, 52) are machined. The surfaces form a groove in which spherical balls (45) are rolled. An interior ring body (40) is concentric inside the external ring, and includes a third surface (53) that is pressed on the balls. A reserve ring (42) includes a fourth surface (54) resting on the balls and relative to the third surface. The body includes a lip deformable against the reserve ring so as to attach the reserve ring and the body with each other when the lip is deformed. The lip takes shape of a crenellated edge. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a ball bearing. |
