PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating oil excellent in a flow point.SOLUTION: The lubricating oil includes (A) a copolymer comprising as an essential constituent monomer (a) a (meth)acrylic acid ester having a 1-32C alkyl group and (B) a base oil having a kinematic viscosity at 100°C of 1.1 to 5.0 mm/s. The component (a) is a (meth)acrylic acid ester having an alkyl group of an average carbon number (Ca) of 11.0 to 12.9 and the crystallization initiation temperature (ta) of the component (A) and the crystallization initiation temperature (tb) of the component (B) satisfy the conditions (1) and (2).
