PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a place information designation device, method and program which can designate place information more specific to the other people.SOLUTION: A place designation device comprises a place check image acquisition part 1185 for acquiring a place check image to check place information; display control part 1182 for displaying the place check image on a display part 106; an operation part 108 for designating a target place in the place check image displayed on the display part 106; and a communication part 112 for sending information of the designated target place and the acquired place check image to an external information appliance with a request for a user of the external information appliance to act.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
