PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress occurrence of defect in a lower electrode during calcination.SOLUTION: An organic EL element 100 has a TFT substrate 130, and an organic EL part 140 formed on the TFT substrate 130. The organic EL part 140 has a lower electrode 118, a functional layer 121 arranged on the lower electrode 118, and including at least a luminous layer containing an organic luminescent material, and an upper electrode 123 arranged on the functional layer 121. The lower electrode 118 has a transition metal-containing metal layer 116, and an aluminum-containing metal layer 117 formed on the transition metal-containing metal layer 116, where the thickness of the aluminum-containing metal layer 117 is 280-500 nm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
