PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint in which it is easily manufactured and inadvertent movement of a sleeve can be prevented or restricted.SOLUTION: A pipe joint 10 comprises a cylindrical male body 12 and a cylindrical female body 14 formed with a concave insertion part 28 into which the male body 12 is inserted. The concave insertion part 28 is provided with a ball 48 fitted into a concave part 18 of the male body 12 to fix the male body 12 to the concave insertion part 28. The female body 14 is outwardly fitted with a sleeve 26 for preventing a removal of the ball 48 and enabling the ball 48 to be removed from the concave part by the axial movement. The female body 14 is outwardly fitted with a collet 60 having an engagement part 62 engaged with the sleeve 26 to restrict its movement. A diameter of the engagement part 62 can be reduced to such a direction as one in which it is moved away from the sleeve 26. The collet 60 is outwardly fitted with a releasing ring 70 in such a way that it can move in an axial direction. When the releasing ring 70 moves to the sleeve 26 side, the diameter of the engagement part 62 is reduced and the engaged state between the engagement part 62 and the sleeve 26 is released.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
