PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target detection device that attains both of a detection distance extension of a target of a low S/N ratio of a stealth aircraft and the like, and a target detection of a low S/N ratio under a background of clutter present at the closest distance from an aircraft having a sensor loaded aircraft all together.SOLUTION: In addition to a target detection angle measuring and range-finding function in a radar device 2, infrared imaging units 21 to 28 are loaded with respect to an omni-direction, and a real time target angle measuring and the range finding function by an omni-directional infrared imaging image are added. When a clutter power is large at the closest distance rather than the aircraft having the imaging unit loaded, an output from a receiver of an antenna is saturated, and a target detection cannot be implemented by the radar device 2, target detection results by the infrared imaging units 21 to 28 are used.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
