The purpose of the present invention is to provide a base station device, terminal device, and communication method that make throughput enhancement possible. Provided is a base station device for communicating with a terminal device, wherein the base station device is provided with an upper layer processing unit for setting a CSI process, which is settings relating to the reporting of channel state information (CSI), for the terminal device, which has been set to a prescribed transmission mode, and the CSI process includes CSI reference signal settings and settings relating to two different code books. Also provided is a terminal device for communicating with a base station device, wherein the terminal device is provided with an upper layer processing unit having a CSI process, which is settings relating to the reporting of channel state information (CSI), set by the base station device and a transmission unit for transmitting the CSI on the basis of the CSI process, and the CSI process includes CSI reference signal settings and settings relating to two different code books. |
