The present invention relates to an ultrasonic device, for imaging an ultrasonic signal, and a beam-forming method for same. An ultrasonic device, according to an embodiment of the present invention, can comprise: a 2D array transducer having a plurality of elements arrayed so as to have a plurality of columns and a plurality of rows; a signal supply unit for supplying the 2D array transducer with an ultrasonic signal; a first delay unit for outputting a plurality of first delay signals that correspond to the number of either one of the columns and rows by delaying the ultrasonic signal; a second delay unit for outputting a plurality of second delay signals that correspond to the number of the other of the columns and rows by delaying any one of the plurality of first delay signals that have been output and for transmitting the plurality of second delay signals to the 2D array transducer.
