PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction machine that allows an open/closed state of an engine cover readily while opening/closing the engine cover.SOLUTION: A hydraulic shovel includes: a lower machinery 1; an upper machinery 2 installed rotatably on the lower machinery 1; a work device 3 installed derrickingly in front of the upper machinery 2; a machine room 15 located on a rear side of the upper machinery 2, for housing a plurality of pieces of equipment including an engine 20; an engine cover 23 installed to constitute an outline of the machine room 15 and to be openable; a left maintenance door 27A and a right maintenance door 27B; an opening/closing actuator 36 for opening/closing the engine cover 23; and an opening/closing operation device 39 installed at an accessible location in the machine room 15 when the left maintenance door 27A is open, the opening/closing operation device 39 operating the opening/closing actuator 36.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
