The present invention relates to a sludge collecting apparatus with a chain derailment preventing function. The sludge collecting apparatus with a chain derailment preventing function is provided to prevent a plate moving by chains to transfer sludge from being inclined and derailed without maintaining level or prevent the apparatus from being damaged when a foreign substance gets jammed between the chains or the tension of one chain becomes weak. The present invention relates to a sludge collecting apparatus with a chain derailment preventing function, which comprises: sprockets fixed to both sides of multiple shafts installed to be able to rotate in a settling basin which has a hopper-shaped sludge collecting part formed on the bottom in front; a pair of endless chains mounted by the sprockets; multiple plates mounted on a link member which connects the endless chains at a regular interval, and moving toward the hopper from the bottom of the settling basin; and a motor rotating one shaft connected to one sprocket. The shafts fastened to the sprockets are placed on the front lower part and front upper part which are adjacent to the sludge collecting part and on the rear lower part, and one shaft placed on the front upper part is connected to the motor to rotate. The sludge collecting apparatus further comprises: a pair of rails mounted rearwards from the front upper part by multiple rail fixing brackets mounted on both side walls; and wheels fixed to each plate and rotating to be tightly coupled on the rails. A chain drooping section where the endless chains droop by the own weights is formed from the rear ends of the rails to the rear lower part. Both sides of each rail are bent upwards so the rail has an upper part in an open shape, and each wheel is inserted through the open upper part of each rail. |
