In the present invention, there is disclosed a titanium-based alloy exhibiting beta crystallography, high corrosion resistance and biological compatibility. The alloy contains 51 to 61.6 percent by weight of titanium, 33 to 40 percent by weight of niobium, 5 to 8 percent by weight of tantalum, 0.4 to 0.5 percent by weight of oxygen, and after being heat and mechanical treated it provides a high strength, sufficient ductility and low modulus of elasticity. |
