A manufacturing method of a polarization member includes: a step of forming a metal film and a preliminary pattern film on a base substrate including a display area and a non-display area; a step of forming a resin layer with patterns on the preliminary pattern film in the display area; a step of processing the surface of the preliminary pattern film and the resin layer; a step of forming mask patterns including a photoresist material on the preliminary pattern film in the non-display area; a step of forming preliminary patterns on the preliminary pattern film using the resin layer; and a step of forming a wire grid polarization part in the display area by etching the metal film by using the preliminary patterns and the mask patterns.
