The present invention relates to a temperature-sensitive color changing complex pigment having a core-shell structure, a manufacturing method thereof, and a smart color changing paint composition using the same. More particularly, the temperature-sensitive color changing complex pigment having a core-shell structure comprises: a core including silica, ceramic or a mixture of the same; and a shell including heat sensitive pigment surrounding the surface of the core.
