摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation monitor that achieves reduction in maintenance cost of spare parts, reduction in a shield-coverage area of a detector covered by a shield member, and reduction in size of the whole radiation monitor.SOLUTION: A detection unit 2 including a sensor 3 and a transmission data conversion section 6 and a transmission unit 10 are located in such a manner that the detection unit 2 and the transmission unit 10 are replaceable. The detection unit 2 has an identification-signal-transmission section 5 that transmits information on a type of the sensor 3 and location of the detection unit 2. The transmission data conversion section 6 converts information on radiation detected by the sensor 3, an identification signal that is output from the identification-signal-transmission section 5 identifying the sensor 3 or the detection unit 2 into transmission data. The transmission data are transmitted to a computing unit 20 through the transmission unit 10. Accordingly, a shield member covers only the detection unit 2 that is separate from the transmission unit 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
