The present invention relates to a battery housing part (10) for a traction battery for pure electrical driving of a vehicle, and more particularly, to a housing frame. The battery housing part includes: a first housing wall (12) covering the side surfaces of battery cells; a second housing wall (14) disposed on the opposite side of the first housing wall (12), and covering the side surfaces of the battery cells; and one or more reinforcing profiles (18) connected to the first housing wall (12) and the second housing wall (14) for at least partial dissipation of impact at a traffic crash. The first housing wall (12) and the second housing wall (14) extend from a bottom level (28) to a cover level (30) in a vertical direction, and from a left level (32) to a right level (34) in a horizontal direction, and the one or more reinforcing profiles (18) are spaced apart from the bottom level (28) and the cover level (30), and from the left level (32) and the right level (34). Thus, measures capable of protecting the battery cells of a traction battery for pure electrical driving of a vehicle from a high level of mechanical influence. |
