The present invention relates to a differential provided with a differential cage (1) including an inner space (3) extending along a drive shaft axis (2). A first differential shaft (4) and a second differential shaft (5) extending through the inner space (3) within a surface perpendicular to the drive shaft axis (2), intersecting each other, and having ends thereof protruding into bearing recesses (6) in the walls of the differential cage (1) are provided. Two first differential pinions (8) supported on the first differential shaft (4) and two second differential pinions supported on the second differential shaft (5) are provided. Front surfaces of the first and second differential pinions (8) having a greater diameter than those of the first and second differential pinions (8) are supported on wall regions (10) of the inner space (3) formed to correspond to the front surfaces, through trust washers (9) including central through holes (18) through which the first and second differential shafts (4, 5) pass to protrude from the central through holes (18). The first differential shaft (4) includes two differential shaft portions (7) sequentially and coaxially arranged. The trust washers (9) of the first differential pinions (8) are connected to the differential cage (1) and the differential shaft portions (7) of the first differential shaft (4) in an engaging and/or press-fitting manner. Thus, the differential shaft portions can be prevented from being twisted. |
