Disclosed is a wireless power transmission system for an electric vehicle. The wireless power transmission system for an electric vehicle according to an embodiment includes power transmission segments which are separated from the lower surface of the electric vehicle downwards, are separated from each other in the travelling direction of the electric vehicle, and induces power in the electric vehicle by using a magnetic field formed by a current circulating along the inside. At least one opposite part in a pair of adjacent power transmission segments included in the power transmission segments can be buried in the ground. So, the power can continuously be supplied to the electric vehicle.
