THRUST MEASUREMENT INSTRUMENT AND METHOD FOR AEROPLANE

An objective of the present invention is to provide an apparatus to measure an engine thrust of an aircraft and a method to measure the engine thrust of the aircraft using the same which measures an accurate weight when correcting thrust to allow a more accurate thrust correction than a conventional technique. The apparatus to measure the engine thrust of the aircraft comprises: a thrust support connected to a wall of a measurement space by a support rod to be moved relatively to the wall on which an engine of an aircraft is fixated; a cylinder to apply a force to the thrust support for thrust correction; a load cell for correction connected to the cylinder in series to measure a force of the cylinder in accordance with an operation of the cylinder; and a load cell for measurement installed in the thrust support to measure the force applied to the thrust support in accordance with an operation of the engine of the aircraft or the cylinder.
